Vlambeer is an independent video game studio founded in 2010 and based in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
The studio originated as the two-man operation of then-students Rami Ismail and Jan Willem Nijman, and quickly built an audience for its fast, imaginative, and quirky games.
Best known for titles like Nuclear Throne, LUFTRAUSERS, UltraBugs and Apple iPhone game of the year 2013 Ridiculous Fishing, the company is widely respected for the community work it does for other indie developers.
The studioformally disbanded on its 10-year anniversary date, September 1st 2020.
