BioWare
BioWare is a Canadian video game developer. Best known for its Mass Effect and Dragon Age games, the company has built a large and diverse portfolio since its founding in 1995. Its development history encompasss a Sonic the Hedgehog game (Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, 2008), several Star Wars games (notably the online multiplayer game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, 2003), and fantasy role-playing games like the Baldur’s Gate series. A common denominator for these games - apart from quality and success - may be found in the commitment to storytelling, finding praise for the innovative approach to things like character design or world lore.
BioWare was acquired by Electronic Arts in 2008, and is set to launch the online multiplayer role-playing game Anthem in 2019.
