Yokai of Kanezaka
'Yokai of Kanezaka' is an original artwork for Blizzard Entertainment's 2022 first-person shooter game Overwatch 2. It shows the game's hero Kiriko and her band of vigilantes, called the Yokai of Kanezaka. Members of this group don masks based on different yokai, or spirits. Here, Kiriko wears a "kitsune" (fox spirit) mask.
The image was created by the French artist Nesskain (Kim-Seang Hong), for Blizzard Entertainment.
This limited-edition, art giclee print is part of the official Overwatch 2 fine art collection by Cook and Becker and Blizzard Entertainment. The print is hand-numbered and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Ships worldwide.
Overwatch 2 is the 2022 follow-up to the popular 2016 online shooter game Overwatch, made by Blizzard Entertainment. In the game, players select a "hero", and team up with others for 5x5 matches.
Visually, Overwatch 2 combines a Pixar-like cartoon style with extreme readability—a must-have in a fast-paced online shooter. This means shapes are always clear, characters are coded with bright colors, and faces, armor and suits are elaborate and cool-looking, but never too detailed. Overall, the games exude a brightness that stands in direct opposition to other online shooter games, notably the darker and more "realistic-looking" ones like Call of Duty or Battlefield.
