This book is a reprint of the 'Sonic the Hedgehog 25th Anniversary Art Book' that was released in 2016, but has been expanded with 32 pages covering the games Sonic Mania, Sonic Forces and Sonic Team Racing. Games that weren't out at the time of the 25th anniversary.
The book contains key art, illustrations, promotional art and rare material from Sonic's history and has a complete written history of the origins and evolution of Sonic as a design icon.
Detailed accounts by Sonic Team-members such as Yuji Naka, Takashi Iizuka, Kazuyuki Hoshino and Yuji Uekawa explain key design decisions shaping Sonic the Hedgehog and his universe over the years.
