Insomniac Games
Insomniac Games is an American video game developer from Burbank, California, known for their Ratchet & Clank, Spyro the Dragon, Resistance, Sunset Overdrive, and Marvel Spider-Man games.
Founded in 1994 as Xtreme Software, the studio developed games for multiple platforms (including Oculus VR, and Microsoft's Xbox) before being acquired by Sony as part of Sony Interactive Entertainment America in 2011, thus becoming part of the network of US-based development studios also including Naughty Dog (The Last of Us, Uncharted) and Sucker Punch Productions (Ghost of Tsushima).
